Pleasure

Pleasure has a capital P in the Markgräflerland region. This is down to our geographical location and the southern climate. We simply love to serve you the best of three countries.

“L’amitié se fait autour d’une bonne table”, as our French neighbours say. Loosely translated, this means: Good friendships are formed over an excellent meal. Our contribution to a transnational culture of pleasure.

La Cuisine

This huge open-plan kitchen is located in the former carpenter’s workshop. It is the perfect setting to have fun while cooking, try out new flavours or simply enjoy a bite to eat. Ideally, we recommend that you take a seat on one of our bar stools and savour the moment.

Long table – Table d’hôtes

In warm weather, we meet under the wide, covered terrace of La Remise to sit at the guest table. If you prefer something a little cosier, La Cave is the ideal room for a delicious dinner. We regularly invite a selection of excellent chefs from our region. Events with winemaker friends provide an insight into the wonderful diversity of our wine region.

Le Petit Salon

Once a week, we invite you to join us for an aperitif in Le Petit Salon: an ideal opportunity to get to know each other and exchange tips.

Le Petit Salon is also our informal lounge area where you can read, play games and chat. Here you will also find a selection of travel and architecture literature, hiking and cycling maps and other helpful reading material.

La Cave

Our wine vault was formerly the cooper’s workshop. Many of his tools have been preserved in the property and lovingly restored. Today, the vault is no longer a place for hard labour, but is instead devoted to the pure enjoyment of wine. In our well-tempered cooler you will find a fine selection of excellent local wines. And if you fancy a snack, a light meal for dinner or a soft drink, you will find what you are looking for in the honesty bar.

We regularly organise wine tastings in La Cave with trusted winemakers. You will learn a great deal about single-vineyard wines from the Markgräfler region and the philosophy of their producers. We are sure that you will find your own particular favourite.
